I am a Neubauer Family Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Chicago. I work mainly in the philosophy of action. I also have serious interests in epistemology (esp. formal epistemology) and ethics (esp. metaethics).

I received a Ph.D in Philosophy from Stanford University, an M.A. in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

If ever in the Milwaukee area, check out my dad's brewery Raised Grain Brewing Company.
